Digitized Project Management is designed to give our clients a clear, current view of their network from construction through every year it remains in service. On most fiber projects, the physical work finishes well before the paperwork does. Redlines are marked by hand, test results live in separate files, and closeout packages are assembled weeks later from spreadsheets that rarely agree. Those gaps tend to surface at acceptance, when schedules and payment have the least room to absorb them.
Our goal is to capture engineering, construction, and testing information digitally at the point of work and validate it before it moves downstream. That approach can give our clients documentation they trust, a geospatial record of their network, and data delivered in the formats their own systems require. With a focus on transparency and accountability, National OnDemand is building toward projects our clients can track with confidence.
Digital As-Builts & Network Documentation
A segment can pass every physical inspection and still be rejected at closeout. Missing test types, incorrect formats, and discrepancies between design drawings and as-built records are among the most common reasons acceptance is delayed, and on many programs, payment for the entire segment waits until the package is complete.
Our approach is to document work as it happens rather than reconstructing it after demobilization. Wherever possible, routes, footages, splice points, and test results are captured in the field, tied to their exact locations, and checked against the design before a crew leaves the site. The result can be closeout packages assembled to their Methods of Procedure and delivered in the electronic formats their acceptance teams specify, with fewer re-trips, fewer resubmittals, and a record that matches what is actually in the ground.
Digital Twin Infrastructure
A network is often its owner's largest asset, yet many operators cannot say with certainty where every strand runs or how it performed on the day it was accepted. When an outage occurs, crews are left to rediscover the network before they can repair it, and every hour spent searching is an hour of lost service.
We are building a geospatial digital record of the networks we construct, designed to link the physical route, splice locations, fiber assignments, and original test measurements in a single system. That baseline can serve as a birth certificate for the asset. When future readings drift from their original values, it can show our clients where performance has changed and help send crews directly to the right location, making maintenance, upgrades, and restoration faster and more predictable.
Data Management
Fiber programs generate enormous amounts of information across engineering, construction, materials, testing, and billing. When that information lives in disconnected spreadsheets and email threads, every status report becomes a reconciliation exercise, and problems surface only after they have already affected the schedule.
We are consolidating project data into a governed environment where field and office information flows into a single source of truth. Automated quality checks are designed to flag anomalies in field data early, so issues can be corrected while crews are still nearby rather than after they have moved on. Our aim is to give clients clear visibility into production, quality, and closeout progress, with reporting that can integrate directly into their own systems. National OnDemand is committed to turning project data into a reliable picture our clients can act on.
